Located in the Haute-Savoie of the Rhone Alpes region, La Clusaz is a beautiful, characteristic and wonderfully well preserved alpine village. Nearby villages include Manigod, Thônes, Le Grand Bornand, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and the larger Chamonix.

Just across the Swiss border, Geneva International Airport is only an hour by car making it easily accessible from many worldwide destinations. TVG trains arrive into Annecy, a convenient 20 miles away. At the crossroads of Europe, this traditional and charming place has mountains that fall freely over an altitude of 1500m.

La Vieux Chalet Beautiful and very special, this is probably one of the oldest high altitude restaurants in the world. La Vieux Chalet transformed itself from an ancient farm into a restaurant in 1936 when the first mechanical sleigh lift arrived on the slope next to it.
